Product Description
H1 AWS D1.1 & ISO 1461 Certified Monopole Communication Tower for Global Telecom Infrastructure
H2 Product Overview
Our Monopole Communication Tower (MCT) is globally certified under AWS D1.1 and ISO 1461 standards to meet the rigorous demands of international telecom infrastructure. This heavy-duty, single-pole steel structure provides a high-density, space-saving platform for global multi-carrier antenna networks. Engineered for fast deployment, it eliminates the heavy footprints of traditional lattice towers while ensuring ultimate structural compliance worldwide.
H2 Cause
International telecom projects often stall during local site auditing due to non-compliant welding methods and poor corrosion resistance. Standard communication poles deployed in coastal, high-salinity, or high-humidity global regions suffer from premature rust, leading to catastrophic structural failures. Furthermore, traditional lattice structures require massive land areas, making them impossible to install in space-restricted urban centers.
H2 Solution
This certified Galvanized Steel Monopole solves compliance risks by matching global engineering standards right out of the factory. By utilizing high-strength steel (Q345B/Q355B/A572 Gr50) and precise taper engineering, it reduces land occupation by up to 70% compared to lattice towers. Our 100% non-destructive tested welding and thick hot-dip galvanization ensure a zero-maintenance lifespan of over 20 years.
H2 Specifications
Every manufactured batch includes complete material certs, wind load calculations, and third-party inspection reports (SGS/Intertek) .

H2 Application
  • Global Telecom Networks: Perfectly meets the strict structural code requirements of tier-1 telecom operators across Europe, Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Dense Urban Infrastructure: Fits narrow urban layouts, rights-of-way, and commercial areas without violating local municipal footprint limits.
  • Extreme Weather Environments: Deployed successfully in high-wind typhoon corridors, coastal salt-fog climates, and high-temperature desert regions .
  • Multi-Carrier Shared Sites: Designed to support multi-tier co-location antennas, allowing multiple operators to share a single tower infrastructure .
H2 How It Works
The monopole utilizes a tapered, multi-sectional configuration that transfers top heavy-loading and wind overturning moments smoothly to the foundation . Heavy-duty slip-joints or friction-flanges secure each segment into a unified, high-rigidity vertical mast . Cables are routed entirely inside the hollow pole through secure entry ports, sealing them against weather, UV degradation, and tampering . Rotatable universal brackets enable accurate azimuth (±180°) and tilt (0°-25°) adjustments for optimal cellular signal alignment .
H2 How To Choose
Follow these 4 critical engineering steps to select the ideal monopole specifications for your international project tender:
  1. Match Welding & Material Codes: Choose ASTM A572 Gr50 / AWS D1.1 for American markets, or Q355B / EN standards for European/African regions .
  2. Calculate Wind Load Parameters: Provide local maximum wind speed or reference ASCE 7-16 / EN 1991 codes to set the proper steel wall thickness .
  3. Verify Site Zinc Layer Thickness: Select standard 85um for inland installations, or upgrade to ≥100um + fluorocarbon duplex painting for marine environments .
  4. Define Platform Layout: Count total antenna panels and RRU weights to decide if you need 1, 2, or 3 platform layers .
H2 FAQ
Q1: Do your communication towers comply with our local welding certifications for project approval?
A1: Yes, absolutely. Our manufacturing facility and welders are fully certified under AWS D1.1 (American Welding Society) and EN ISO 15609 standards . We conduct 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Radiographic Testing (RT) on all primary longitudinal structural welds and provide complete NDT reports for your local engineering sign-off .
Q2: What international anti-corrosion standards do you follow for global exports?
A2: We hot-dip galvanize all steel components in strict compliance with ISO 1461 (Global Standard), ASTM A123 (North America), and AS/NZS 4680 (Australia/NZ) . Our standard minimum zinc thickness is $ge$85(mu )m, which guarantees a rust-free service life of more than 20 years in normal environments .
Q3: Can you design the monopole according to our specific country's wind and seismic codes?
A3: Yes. We can perform custom finite element wind load calculations based on ASCE 7-16 (US), EN 1991-1-4 (Eurocode), or IS 875 (Indian Standard) . You only need to provide your local design wind speed or wind pressure, and our team will issue the complete structural calculation sheets .
Q4: How is the monopole packaged and marked for international ocean freight?
A4: Tower segments are shipped nested or bundled with heavy-duty protective rubber padding, rust-preventative oil, and edge protection caps . Hardware, flanges, and accessories are packed securely in seaworthy, steel-banded wooden or iron crates . Every package features weatherproof shipping marks showing tower segment numbers and lift points for easy site sorting .
Q5: What technical documentation do you provide to assist with our telecom tower site bidding?
A5: For every international tender, we supply comprehensive AutoCAD manufacturing drawings, 3D structural models, certified Mill Test Reports (MTC), and foundation loading data (pp. 5, 7). We can also arrange and provide independent third-party inspection certificates from SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), or Intertek to verify zinc coating thickness and steel grade compliance .
